Rose Pryce

From London, Islington, Rose Pryce is an accomplished singer/songwriter who has worked within the industry for many years.

Initially fronting bands, her roots began in indie pop alongside such bands as Republica and Garbage. Her musical interest began to lean more towards the dance scene, and after plans to replace the vocalist in the Sneaker Pimps did not transpire, she became a solo artist. Under MCM management, she made an album with producer Jake Gosling and has subsequently written and recorded tracks with various dj/producers such as Layo and Bushwacka!, Pete Gooding and Claudia Cazacu.

Making records as a session singer has also contributed to her experience and musical diversity which continues today, most recently working on film soundtrack projects with legendary producer Marius De Vries (google him folks!)

She occasionally turns her hand to acting, with walk-on parts in television productions such as ‘Holby City’, ‘My Family’, ’Ashes To Ashes’ and the new BBC drama, ‘Luther’.

Her love of comedy led her to write jingles with producer Alex K for comedian Richard Herring & radio presenter Andrew Collins which are currently being played on BBC6 Music’s ‘Collins and Herring’ show (SaveBBC6Music!)

She features on Tom Eno’s latest album ‘Barnstormer’ with the first track ‘Tijuana’, released last November on Jack to Phono records and is currently working on material for the soundtrack to a major film release (watch this space!)
